Chris Hunter collected 3-hits to Help Defeat the Crusaders 6-2.

Kansas Christian scores first in the top of the 2nd on a Marcos Franjul homer to left field.  Then in the top of the 3rd, Brey Turner hit a home run to right field.  Later in the same inning, Chris Hunter hit a home run to left field.  Hunter singled hom his 2nd RBI of the game on a hard hit single to left field, scoring Ben Shively, this push the lead to 5-0.  Cody Ziegelmeyer was cruising and didn't look to be slowing down.  He did give up a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifith inning.  But, Kansas Chrsitian got one of the runs back on a Hunter single to left, scoring Mikal Whisler.  

Jose Ballista was called on to get the last 2-innings.  And had zero problems with the Cusaders, going 2.0 innings, giving up 1-hit, 1-walk and striking out six.  Ballista has been lights out in his last 8-appearances, pitching 17.1 innings, giving up 9-hits, 0-runs, 24-strikeouts.  Cody Ziegelmeyer has been the ace of the staff, getting his 5th win on the season and striking out five.  Cody leads the staff with 50-innings pitched and is 2nd on the team with 49-strikeouts just 2-behind Ballista with 51.  His 4.14 ERA is best among the starters.  Cody picked up his first save on the season, finishing up game-2.

Chris Hunter went 3-4 with 1-run and 3-RBIs and a home run.  Marcos Franjul went 2-3, with a home run. Brey Turner hit a home run as well, and was 2-4 at the dish.  Turner has come alive in the last 3 games, going a combined 6-11, with 2-runs, 4-RBIs, 2-xtra base hits.
