Cody Ziegelmeyer got the start for the Falcons and was looking to improve on his team high in Wins (6). A Sac Fly by Mikal Whisler put Kansas Christian on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Arlington Baptist captured the lead, 2-1 in the top half of the fifth on a single and an error. The Patriots added another run on a hard hit single up the middle.
Kansas Christian had the opportunity to tie up the game. Brey Turner reached on an error, Whisler walked and Strobel singled, setting up the top of the order. Drew Lippold popped up to the 2nd baseman and Chris Hunter grounded out to short, ending the threat of a come back.
Cody had another great outing, pitching his 6th quality start on the season. Cody pitched 6-innings, giving up 1-earned run on 5-hits and striking out four.
