Game One: Ecclesia 7, Kansas Christian 6
The Falcons jumped out to an early lead, scoring in four of the first five innings to establish a 6-1 advantage. Key contributions included a two-hit performance from Angel Parra, who scored twice, and a three-hit effort from Jake Galloway, who also drove in a run. Parker Graves and William Ashley each added RBI singles, while Roman Sherman chipped in with a pinch-hit RBI base knock.
However, the sixth inning proved costly, as Ecclesia erupted for six runs highlighted by a grand slam from catcher Tucker Bradley. The late rally erased Kansas Christian's five-run cushion and turned the tide. Despite threatening in the late innings, the Falcons were unable to recover.
Starting pitcher Parker Bryant allowed four earned runs over 5.1 innings, while reliever Jose Ballista took the loss, surrendering three runs in 1.2 innings of work.
Game Two: Ecclesia 7, Kansas Christian 4
In the afternoon matchup, Kansas Christian again got off to a promising start, taking a 2-0 lead by the second inning thanks to RBIs from Ben Shively and Grant Claycomb. Shively later added a triple and finished with two RBIs, while Manny Valenzuela launched a solo home run in the seventh to keep the Falcons in striking distance.
Angel Parra turned in another strong performance, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base. However, Ecclesia countered with timely offense of their own, including a two-run homer from Diego Canuelas and a key three-run seventh inning that proved decisive.
Tommy Thomas was tagged with the loss, allowing four earned runs over five innings. TJ Bratton pitched the final two frames, allowing three runs on two hits and three walks.
