Falcons Fly to First Round Win at Southwest Regional
The Kansas Christian men's basketball team earned a 97-72 win over Southwestern Adventist in the first round of the Southwest Regional Tournament on Thursday night. It was the 17th win of the season for the Falcons.
The Falcons led by 10 points at halftime but broke away for good in the second half in the 25 point victory. Kansas Christian shot 53% from the field and 79% from the free throw line. The Falcons went four for five from three point range in the second half as they pulled away for the win.
Noah Brooks had a monster game with a team high 19 points. He also blocked four shots and grabbed 15 rebounds. Boog Lewis and Jamal Clark each added 18 points. Lewis had a team high five assists. Elazar Conlley scored 16 points and had nine rebounds. Jahlani Blair finished with 11 points.
Next up for the Falcons are the Southwest Regional Semifinals tonight against Dallas Christian College at 5pm. The tournament is in Moore, Okla. and is hosted by Randall University.
