Falcons Drop Two at Central Christian College Classic

The Kansas Christian men's basketball team dropped both contests at the Central Christian College Classic this weekend. On Friday, the Falcons took on the host Central Christian falling 97-73. Saturday, Kansas Christian fell to Sterling College 79-59. 

The Falcons led in the first half on Friday against Central Christian but trailed by eight points at halftime. Kansas Christian could draw no closer in the second half as Central Christian pulled away for the 24 point win. Isaac Lane had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Damon Werts finished with 17 points. 

Saturday's game was tight in the first 10 minutes before Sterling took control. The Warriors led by 12 at halftime and eventually took home a 20 point victory. Malik Martin went for 27 points to lead the Falcon offense. Brandon Anthony had 10 points and five rebounds. 

The Falcons take on Prarie View A&M today at noon before playing Houston College of Biblical Studies on Tuesday in their Texas trip.
