Falcons Finish 1-1 on Texas Trip

Kansas Christian headed south for a pair of games against Southwestern Adventist and Dallas Christian. The Falcons earned the win on Thursday against Soutwestern Adventist but fell on Friday to Dallas Christian. 

In the win over the Knights, Kansas Christian built up a 10 point halftime lead and maintained the advantage through the second half for a 96-86 win. Kaiden Hunter had his best game of the season scoring 40 points. Oscar Traylor added 10 points coming of the bench to round out the double digit scorers for the Falcons. Malik Martin had the team high in rebounds with 11. 

On Friday, the Falcons trailed by 15 points at halftime to the Crusaders from Dallas Christian. In the seconf half, Kansas Christian bounced back and got within two points in the closing minute of the game, but Dallas Christian three held the Falcons off as they fell 97-92. 

Malik Martin was the leading scorer with 28 points and had the team high in rebounds pulling down eight. Damon Werts added 18 points Isaac Land scored 16. Kaiden Hunter had 13 points. Hunter also had four assists. Oscar Traylor chipped in with 11 points off the bench giving him back to back double digit scoring games.
