The Kansas Christian men's basketball team got back into the win column with a home victory over Union on Thursday night. The #4 Falcons are now 8-7 on the season.
The Falcons used a strong start to take charge of the game outscoring Union 12-0 to open play in the first half. Kansas Christian would go on to lead 44-30 at halftime. In the second half the Warriors held their own and trimmed the deficit to eight with just over a minute left to play, but the Falcons held on for a 85-74 win.
Damon Werts played his best game of the season scoring 28 points to lead all scorers. Malik Martin added 15 points and eight rebounds while Kevon Williams scored 11 points and had nine rebounds. Reuben Doria gave the Falcons 10 points and five assists off the bench.
The men's basketball team heads to Manhattan, Kan. on Tuesday, January 30th for a 5pm matchup with Manhattan Christian College in their next contest.
