Falcons Improve to Win Last 9 of Last 10 Games

7th Rank, Kansas Christian (14-6) took on the Warriors of Calvary University (7-13).  The Falcons got off to a 15-10 lead at the 12:17 mark in the first half.  A big Alloy Oop dunk by Oscar Traylor assisted by Damon Werts helped in taking a 17-10 lead, then Damon Werts followed up with a steal and dunk to push the lead to 19-10.

Calvary followed up with a 5-0 spirt, getting to winthin 4-points.  Then entered reserve player, James Lewis.  Lewis has been playing a little bit more as of late, due to his ability to hit the three.  Over a span of 1:05, Lewis hit three 3-pointers in a row.  And, with good measure Kaiden Hunter completed the four 3-pointers in a row, followed by Oscar Traylors steal and fast-break bucket at 8:04 and Kaiden Hunter with another 3-pointer at 7:26, completely the 17-0 run.

Kansas Christian had eight players play at least 10-minutes in the first half and all eight players scored.  Kaiden Hunter led the way with 12-points.  Kansas Christian outscored Calvary's bench 25-5.

Calvary came out firing in the 2nd half, going on a 5-0 run, cutting the lead to 18-points.  This was the closest Calvary would get.  As Kansas Christian ran away with the 99-60 victory.

Senior, Malik Martin finished with 21-ponts, 7-rebounds & 3-assists in 36-minutes of play.  Oscar Traylor, the other senior on the squad, added 13-points, 6-rebounds, 3-assists, 4-steals & 2-blocks in 22-minutes off the bench.  Traylor has been a defensive tear all season, leading the team in steals (40) and blocks (23).  Teams struggle to gaurd Traylor because of his defensive ability. He has been a defensive beast all-season and looks to continue you that for the rest of the season and into the playoffs.

Kansas Chrsitians next game is on February 13th (Tuesday) as they take on College of the Ozarks at 5pm.  Come out and support our Men as we go for 7-wins in a row.
