Mike Talbert Named Co-Men's Basketball Coach

The Kansas Christian College athletic department has announced the promotion of Mike Talbert to Co-Head Men's Basketball Coach and associate athletic director for sports marketing. Tablert has served the last year with the Falcons as the head coach of the varsity reserve team. The announcement comes on the heels after the resignation of Devin Alters who served as associate head men's basketball coach over the last two seasons. 

Dr. Jim Poteet said, "Michael's background and connections in the local area will benefit us in recruiting and promoting our athletic programs. He will be a major asset to our athletic department." After the announcement, Talbert had this to say on the new position, "I want to express gratitude for the opportunity to continue to serve this institution. I thank President Pollard and Vice President of Athletic Advancement, Jim Poteet for allowing me to have this opportunity with the men's basketball and athletic department. I'm excited about the direction of the college and basketball program are headed and I look forward to building on that success during my time at Kansas Christian College."
