The men's soccer team went across town to take on Avila University in an NAIA matchup on Thursday night. The Falcons would ultimately fall 1-0 in a tightly played contest. They are now 2-2 on the season.
Ombeni Mubengwa led the offense with five shots and three on goal in the loss. Joao dos Reis made four saves and allowed one goal at the goal keeper position. The Falcons battled step for step with the Eagles throughout the match.
The Falcons head to Leavenworth, Kan. on Saturday for their third straight road game and second straight NAIA opponent in the University of Saint Mary. Kick off is scheduled for 1pm.
