Falcons Win Big Over Manhattan Christian

The men's soccer team earned a 6-0 victory over Manhattan Christian in a home match on Wednesday afternoon. The win improves the Falcons to 4-4 on the season. They are 3-0 in NCCAA Central Region play. 

Kansas Chrisitan built a 5-0 lead by halftime and added another goal in the second half for the shutout victory. Felipe Pampolim and Leonard Alulea each had two goals for the Falcons. Pampolim added an assist. Elio Pereira and Roberto Mugabe each had one goal and one assist. Selemani Shukurani and Edgar Reynaga each had an assist as well. Gabriel Farenzena played the entire match in goal earning his third shut out and fourth win on the season. 

The Falcons will host two more home matches next week. On Tuesday, October 3, Kansas Christian hosts Ozark Christian. Friday, October 6 the Falcons will host Spurgeon. Both matches begin at 1pm and all home matches for the Falcons are played at Scheels Soccer Complex in Overland Park.
