The Kansas Christian men's soccer team fell 4-2 in a match at Ecclesia last week. Ecclesia is an NCCAA Division I school in Springdale, Ark. The loss drops the Falcons to 6-5 on the season.
Ecclesia jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 17 minutes of the match before Felipe Pampolim found the back of the net for the Falcons to make the score 3-1 headed into halftime. Ecclesia and Pamplim each scored again in the second half. Both goals for Pampolim were unassisted for the Falcons. Gabriel Farenzena made six saves and allowed four goals in the loss.
The men's soccer team closes the regular season next week with a match at Union College in Lincoln, Neb. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24 at 5pm.
