Women's Basketball Falls in Final Home Game
The Kansas Christian women's basketball team fell to College of the Ozarks in their final home game on Tuesday night. The loss drops the Falcons to 12-8 on the season.
College of the Ozarks ran out to a 18-9 lead in the first quarter and expanded the deficit to 18 by halftime. The Falcons could not make up ground in the second half in the loss.
Kansas Christian did have four scorers in double digit totals with Brendeja Holloman scoring a team high 12 points. Monique Hunt and Nickiah Metcalf each scored 11 points and Danna Wagnon finished with 10 points. Holloman led the Falcons in rebounds with nine. Monique Hunt had eight rebounds.
The game with College of the Ozarks wraps up regular season play for the Falcons as they now turn their attention to the Southwest Regional Tournament hosted by Randall Univeristy in Moore, Okla. beginning on Feb. 22.
