Lady Falcons Earn First Road Win

Road trips had come up empty for the Falcons until last week when the women's basketball team traveld to Lincoln, Neb. for a game at Union Adventist University on December 2. The Falcons brought home their first road win by a score of 64-56.

Kansas Christian overcame a bad shooting night for the victory. The Falcons shot 19 for 56 from the field as a team good for 34%. Three point range wasn't any better finishing four for 20 and 20% from three. Union Adventist had the rebounding edge at 39-29, but turnovers proved to be the decider in this game. Union turned the ball over 23 times in the game to the Falcons eight total turnovers. Kansas Christian scored 18 points off thsoe turnovers proving to be the difference.

Hayley Dively scored 24 points to pace the offense. She was eight for 12 at the free throw line and seven for 14 from the field in the win. Brittany Cato and Samiya Lewis both scored in double figures as well for the Falcons. Cato scored 15 points and was a perfect six for six at the charity stripe.
