Men's Basketball Takes First Road Win
Kansas Christian College hit the road for matchup in Moore, Okla. on Saturday against Randall University. After a 30 point home victory over Union Adventist earlier in the week, the Falcons took momentum into their matchup at Randall.
A cold shooting night and some foul trouble made things difficult for the Falcons and Randall would lead 37-34 at halftime. Diego Carrera was issued two technical fouls and Darion Williams fouled out leaving the Falcons with just five players at the end of the game.
Damon Werts continued to have an excellent week of basketball scoring 27 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. He went three for four at the free throw line and shot 12 for 19 from the field. Amouri Dunn got to the free throw line 16 times making 11 and finished with 18 total points. James Lewis and Darion Williams each added 10 points of their own.
The men's basketball team returns to action on Friday with a game at William Penn who plays in the NAIA as a member of the Heart of America Conference.
