Falcons Fly Past Royals

Turnovers and missed layups plagues a slow start for the Kansas Christian College men's basketball team in their road game at Ecclesia on Thursday night. After halftime, that was all a different story as the Falcons played some of there best basketball of the season flying to a 45-25 second half advantage and winning the game by a final score of 76-56.

Damon Werts continued to have an amazing senior season posting a double-double on the back of 29 points and 10 rebounds. Werts led all scorers and rebounders in the game. James Lewis sank four three point shots and grabbed six rebounds while scoring 15 points in the win. Amourie Dunn had 18 points coming off the bench and Darion Williams pulled down eight rebounds for the Falcons.

Next up is a home game on Saturday, when the men's basketball team hosts Barclay College at 4pm. Come out and support the Falcons in Cowen Memorial Auditorium on Saturday!
