The Kansas Christian College men's basketball team won their fourth straight game on Tuesday night at Calvary University in Belton, Mo. The Falcons have continued their charge to get back to .500 with their record now 10-11 with two games remaining in the season.
A blistering start set the tone for the Falcon in the win. Darion Williams laid in a basket for the first score of the game and the Falcons went on to a 13-0 run to start the game. A nine point halftime lead would grow as high as 15 points in the second half. Calvary would get no closer than a seven point deficit as the Falcons eventually took the victory by a final score of 86-74.
Four Falcons scored in double figures. James Lewis hit five three point shots and scored 23 points to go with his seven rebounds and two assists in the win. Damon Werts scored 21 points and also had seven rebounds to go with five steals and a blocked shot. Alcee Culler scored 13 points and had nine assists along with two steals and two rebounds. Darion Williams scored 10 points, grabbed four rebounds, and had two blocks.
The Falcons host Calvary next Tuesday at 7pm. Kansas Christian finishes the regular season on February 20 in a game at Spurgeon.
