After dropping a pair of exhibition games on the road, the Kansas Christian women's basketball team opened their season of official games at home on Monday night hosting Union Adventist University. The Falcons soared to a 14-1 start to the game and never looked back, leading at halftime by 25 and winning the game 70-29.
Samiya Lewis was the leading scorer for Kansas Christian with 18 points. Brittany Cato went for a double-double behind 16 points and 19 rebounds. Aleena Elise-Perez cracked double digiits in points with 10. Rayne Dunn-Johnson grabbed nine rebounds.
