Women's Basketball Beats Ecclesia

Playing with just six players for the second straight game the Falcons continued their winning ways at home defeating Ecclesia by a final score of 65-46. 

Ecclesia jumped out to an early lead on the Falcons in the first quarter leading by as many as nine points but the Falcons cut the deficit to just 14-17 by the end of the period. The Falcons clawed their way to a two point lead by halftime and then pulled away with a decisive 21-7 third quarter. 

Aleena Elise-Perez played one of her best games of the season with a 26 point effort. She also had grabbed five rebounds. Hayley Dively scored 17 points and Brittany Cato added 10. Jazalle Dunn added seven points for the Falcons. 

Next week the Falcons will play their third straight home game when they host Randall University for a 5pm game in Cowem Memorial Auditorium. The Falcons will be playing to extend their home win streak to seven games and the chance to be over .500 for the first time this season.
