The Kansas Christian College women's basketball team got back in the win column as they topped Ecclesia for the second time this season, this time on the road in Springdale, Ark. After Ecclesia took out an early four point lead by the end of the first quarter, the Falcons responded with the largest quarter point differential in the game as they outscored Ecclesia 24-8 in the second quarter. From there the Falcons held off the Royals for an eventual 55-44 win.
Three Falcons scored in double figures with Hayley Diveley scoring 18 points, Brittany Cato getting 15 points, and Aleena Elise-Perez finishing with 13 points. Diveley and Cato each had a team high five rebounds. Diveley hit five of her 11 shots from three point range. Elise-Perez led the team in assists with three. She was also seven for 10 at the free throw line.
Women's Basketball will look for it's second consecutive road win on Tuesday when they travel to Manhattan, Kan. for a matchup at Manhattan Christian College. Tip off is 5pm.
