Women's Volleyball Slips at Spurgeon on the Road

Kansas Christian women's volleyball dropped all three sets at Spurgeon. The Knights jumped out early with a convincing 25-9 win in the first set. Momentum was hard to come by as Spurgeon went on signifanct scoring streaks in all three sets. The Falcons found a little improvement in the second and third set but ultimately lost the match 3-0.

Lack of heighth has been an issue for the Falcons contributing to a shortfall on the attack. Spurgeon would have 33 kills in the match to the Falcons 12. Jo-Annie Rodriguez led the team in digs with 10 while Sofia Hernandez finished with five digs. Rodriguez also had six kills.

The women's volleyball team heads to Nebraska for a triangular at York College next weekend.
