Falcons Fall in NAIA Mid Week Matches
Kansas Christian College sent the women's volleyball team to North Newton and Hillsoboro this week for a pair of matches with NAIA opponents out of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Falcons dropped both matches in straight sets. The first match came against Bethel College. The Falcons did get six kills from Jo-Annie Rodriguez and four assists from Amirah Schneiderwind, but the final scores went 25-7, 25-4, and 25-4 by way of the Threshers.
The next night, Brittany Cato made her debut on the floor for the Falcons against Tabor College. Cato made an impact right away with a team high seven digs. She also had three kills. Jo-Annie Rodriguez added four kills. Rylie Kroesen and Amirah Schneiderwind each had three assists. After a tough first set, the Falcons competed well in the second and third set before falling 3-0.
Next up for the Falcons is a trip to Hesston, KS next week on Friday, September 26 where they will take on Hesston College in an NCCAA Division I Central Region Matchup. The match is scheduled for a 6pm start.
