Falcon Volleyball Wins First Sets at Home

A stong Monday night crowd at Cowen Memorial Auditorium saw the Kansas Christian women's volleyball team put on their best perofrmance of the season in a five set thriller against Union Adventist University. The Falcons won their first set of the season in the second set of the match and two matches later they won their second set but ultimately fell in the match 3-2. 

The Falcons made a number of competitive plays in the match. Jo-Annie Rodriguez accounted for 30 kills to lead the offensive attack. It was the most kills in a match for Rodriguez in her career at Kansas Christian College. Brittany Cato also had 11 kills which is her season high. Rodriguez had a team high 28 digs on the defensive side. Rylie Kroesen had 22 digs while Cato had 19 and Hayley Diveley finished with 17 digs. Hayley Dively sent up 40 assists in the match as well. 

On Thursday, the women's volleyball team will travel to Mobely, Missouri for another match at Central Christian College of the Bible.
