The Kansas Christian softball team earned a double header split at Bethel College in North Newton, Kan. last week. The Falcons took game one 12-11 in extra innings and fell in game two 3-1.
Ari Lopez started in the pitching circle and went the distance in the win. Lopez also went two for four at the plate and scored a run. Alexis Williams finished three for five scoring two runs and driving in one. Cherie Green and Trinitie Butler each had two hits. Green drove in three runs and Butler drove in two.
In the second game, Bethel scored two runs in the first and one in the third before the Falcons scored in the fifth. That would be all the scoring after a high scoring game in game one. Alexis Williams led the offense once again with two hits and an RBI. Ari Lopez, Baylee Highfill, and Danna Wagnon each had one hit. Haven Kelly threw 3.1 innings in the pitchers circle in the loss. Ari Lopez pitched 3.2 innings in relief.
